Equipment & Process Description
 The whole
PE Rotary Screen is made of stainless steel,
except the gear motor. The gear motor is to drive the drum
screen installed in the stainless steel casing. Water
containing the particles to be separated will be pumped
into the specially designed trough inside the body. The
water will then overflow via a weir plate onto the drum
screen. The water will be filtered with the particles
sticking to the surface of the drum screen. The screening
will be removed by a stationary stainless steel rake
located in front of the screen.
An emergency
by-pass screen will be installed at the back of the rough.
In case of the malfunction or the drum screen been
clogged, the water will overflow through the emergency
by-pass, instead of over the drum screen. The screened
water from the emergency by-pass will flow by gravity to
the same collection pot below.
